Loci Terms of Service

Beta Service

Loci is provided as a beta productivity tool for recording sessions you choose to capture and generating transcripts, summaries, cited notes, tasks, and chat answers. The beta may change, fail, or become unavailable.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for using Loci only where recording is lawful and appropriate, including obtaining consent from meeting participants when required. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to process.

Accounts and Device Tokens

During beta, Loci uses a per-install device token instead of user accounts. Data access is tied to that token. Loci does not provide cross-device sync, password recovery, account transfer, or team administration during beta.

Third-Party Processing

Loci uses third-party processors including Hetzner, Deepgram, OpenAI, Resend, and Cloudflare to provide hosting, transcription, generated outputs, email, and website delivery. Use of Loci means you agree that selected recordings and related content may be processed by those services to provide Loci features.

Generated Output

Generated transcripts, summaries, tasks, citations, and chat answers may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review important output before relying on it.

Beta Downloads

Beta downloads are approval-gated. Approved testers may receive time-limited signed links and checksums. Do not redistribute beta builds or download links unless Loci gives written permission.

Deletion

You may delete data tied to your device token from Settings > Data and Privacy. You may also contactfeedback@getloci.co for help with export or deletion requests.

Availability and Warranty

Loci is provided as-is during beta without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Loci is not liable for lost data, missed tasks, interrupted service, or indirect damages.
